GLOBAL - Hewitt, Watson Wyatt, UBS, SWIP, Aegon, Barnett Waddingham, F&C, PIC, Nevsky, Welllington, Deutsche Bank.

Hewitt - Tim Currell, senior investment consultant at Watson Wyatt and the author of the recently published Watson Wyatt paper entitled "Sustainable Investment", has left the consultant to join Hewitt Associates' investment practice.

Watson Wyatt - Sean Weaver will join the company's London-based benefits practice as senior consultant. He joins from Grant Thornton's restructuring practice. Jane Goodland has joined the global manager research team from Henderson Global Investors.

UBS Global Asset Management - Chicago-based global head of equities Tom Madsen has stepped down from his post to take up a business development role at the group. John Leonard, Madsen's deputy, will take over as global head of core equities. Madsen will now oversee the development of UBS' growth equities business in New York and the start-up of a new quantitative funds business in the US. The company also wants to hire people to set up the quantitative equities unit.

Scottish Widows Investment Partnership - CDK Group's Andre Andrzejsson will start as head of Nordic, focusing on SWIP's expansion in the region's institutional market, the company said.  He will be based in the company's London office and will report to Peter Zurhorst, head of Northern Europe.
AEGON Asset Management - Jonathan Dadswell, Credit Suisse Asset Management's vice president  for UK institutional distribution and local authority sales, will now head corporate pensions. Mandy Amadou, joining from Wellington Management, has been appointed as consultant relations manager of the firm's institutional business development team. These appointments follow the arrival of Nigel Loweth as head of institutional business in March.

Barnett Waddingham - Andrew Coveney and Clive Grimley, both directors of Barnett Waddingham Investments Limited, will become partners of the firm on June 1. Aon Consulting's Bhargaw Buddhedev has started as partner at Barnett Waddingham's Amersham office, while New Bridge Street Consultant's Rod Marshall now works at the London office. John Flynn, Jane Gregory, Steve Hitchiner, Claire Lancaster, Mark Pipe, Ben Pullen, Ben Roach and Matt Tickle have been appointed as associates.

F&C - Robert Crewe will start as derivatives fund manager at the company's asset liability management team. He previously worked at Bearn Stearns as associate director, fixed income derivatives.

Pension Insurance Corporation - Matt Gore, formerly head of bulk annuity operations at Prudential, has joined PIC as chief administration officer at Edmund Truell's fledgling pension buy-out company. In his new role, Gore will oversee the day-to-day interaction with PIC's administrator Paymaster, Pension Insurance Corporation's Pensions administrator.

Standard Asset Management - Fiona Stewart, previously chief operating officer of hedge fund firm Sofaer Capital and more recently of Plutus Capital, will join Standard later this month as chief operating officer.
 
Nevsky Capital - Gavin Corr has been appointed to the newly-created role of head of European equities. He will join from BlackRock MLIM, where he holds the same position, from September.
Wellington Management - Per Künow has resigned from his post as business developer at the investment manager's London office. The company declined to comment if a replacement has been found for him.
Deutsche Bank - Augustine Chen has left CLSA to become director of institutional equity sales for the bank's Taiwan office.
