BNP Paribas - Alan Mudie has resigned as chief investment officer and will leave BNP Paribas’ Geneva office by the end of this month. It is unclear who will replace him.

SEB - Ainars Ozols, currently head of retail banking in SEB Unibanka and deputy chairman of the management board, will succeed Viesturs Neimanis as head of the Nordic financials group, the third largest in the region.

Watson Wyatt - Paul Macro, head of defined contribution (DC) consulting at Aon Consulting, joins the Watson Wyatt DC consulting team as senior consultant from August.

Hewitt Associates - Charlotte Rogers, working at the firm’s UK investment consulting business, has last week left to join Mercer. However, Tapan Datta joins from Experian, where he worked as senior global economic adviser.

UBS - Rick Nardis has been promoted to deputy chief investment officer within UBS Global Asset Management’s alternatives business. Nardis, previously senior investment officer, will to be Stamford-based in the US.

IXIS Asset Management - Peter Martin, based in Boston, US, has been named executive vice-president, head of distribution for the Americas. Hervé Guinamant, based in Paris, has been appointed executive vice-president, head of distribution for Europe and Asia Pacific. Both are internal appointments, the firm said in a statement.

Stenham - Shyam Moorjani, Francis Kidd and Sameer Saifan will join the Stenham’s asset management team. Moorjani, previously at Key Asset Management, will start at the London office as chief operating officer and Kidd joins the Guernsey office as chief operating officer. Saifan is joining as head of quantitative research and risk in London from FRM.

Dexia Asset Management - Luc Rasschaert, global head of marketing at the Brussels-based bank’s asset management division, has been promoted to new global head of third-party wholesale and retail distribution.

Credit Suisse - Tim Sweeting, joining from DB Absolute Return Strategies, is the new head of institutional distribution for absolute return strategies Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA), at the asset management business. Serge Chiaramonte will also join from Lehman Brothers to cover hedge fund sales to the European Fund of Funds market, Reyer Kooy is joining from JP Morgan as head of money market sales for EMEA while Andy Lawley is responsible for UK consultant relationships, also from JP Morgan.

Aberdeen Asset Management - Kevin Daly is leaving S&P and will join Esther Chan at the firm’s London-based emerging market debt team. Chan will relocate to London from Aberdeen’s Singapore-based Asian fixed income team.

Scottish Widows Investment Partnership - Kathleen Dickson has been appointed to the newly created-role of European equity product specialist. She joins from Baillie Gifford.

Arlington - Colliers’ Louise Greenan and Gerrard’s Nicola Francis will join the Arlington UK Balanced Property Fund team. Greenan will be responsible for managing the fund alongside lead fund manager Rod Ross. Francis has been appointed as a fund analyst.

JLT Benefit Solutions - Steve Barker will start as head of investment consulting in July. Until now, he has worked as head of investment development at Morley Fund Management.
