Northern Trust Global Investments - Integrated Alternative Investments' Dawn Kendall has been appointed as head of investments, international - a newly-created role within NTGI's London-based manager of managers business. She was previously investment director at Integrated Alternative Investments, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Integrated Asset Management .
Bank of New York - Marc Russell-Jones, is leaving Northern Trust to join BONY as the new London-based managing director and head of sales for alternative investment services in Europe.
Mercer - Barbara Marder has been promoted to head Mercer's global consulting to defined contribution plans. This is a new position. Marder, a 20-year veteran of Mercer, previously served as the professional leader for Mercer's Americas retirement business and was also a member of the Americas Retirement Operating Committee. Mercer has not identified a replacement for her old position yet, a spokeswoman said.

Geister has worked at Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking in Paris, London and Frankfurt. This new appointment is part of the ongoing expansion of the ETF Securities team, the company said.
