SEB - Ahti Asmann has been appointed as the new head of SEB in Estonia, as chief executive and chairman of the management board of SEB Eesti Ühispank. Asmann has been acting head of the bank since August.

Société Générale Asset Management - Paris-based Marie-Anne Allier has been promoted to deputy head of fixed income Investments, which is is a new position. She previously served as head of credit management and then head of European bonds.

Schroder - Ian Mason will head the UK fund management business of Schroder's property division as part of an expansion of the senior management team. Mason joins from BlackRock, where he was responsible for UK and European business.

Santander Asset Management UK - The Spain-based asset management arm of Banco Santander Central Hispanico, has nabbed Axa's Keith Speck. He will head of the multi-manager division from December.

Newton Investment Management Limited - The UK-based asset management subsidiary of The Bank of New York Mellon, has appointed Alex O'Reilly to its global equities team. O'Reilly joins from Rio Tinto Pension Investments.

Gartmore - Jamie Brooke, previously at Quester and 3i in London, started earlier this month as a new manager at Gartmore's UK small cap team.

Cardano - The Dutch investment manager has poached ABN Amro Asset Management's Bart Oldenkamp as managing director of its Dutch-based team. Geert-Jan Troost also started earlier this month as managing director sales and marketing, having joined from Citigroup.
 
Northern Trust - JP Morgan's Noah Uldall has been appointed to the new role of derivatives programme manager in London, to coordinate and manage all derivative projects globally, across Northern Trust's asset servicing group.

Morse - Grant Cooper and Neil Fraser join Morse's financial services consulting team. Fraser, previously at Charles River Development, will be based in Edinburgh. Cooper, from Citigroup, will work from the consultant's Central London office.

Pictet Asset Management - F&C's Simon Males will start at the Swiss private bank Pictet & Cie's institutional division at the end of this month as chief marketing officer of UK institutional business within the business development team. He will be based in London.
