Partners Group - Peter Wuffli, the former chief executive of UBS who was replaced by his deputy Marcel Rohner in July 2007, will be proposed to replace Robert Schenker at the next annual general meeting at the end of April.

Close Brothers - Preben Prebensen, currently with speciality insurance group Catlin, has been appointed as chief executive, replacing Colinn Keogh, who said in September he would step down.

Aegon - Rob Routs, a former executive director with Royal Dutch Shell, will take over as chairman of the supervisory board at the annual general meeting of shareholders in April 2010. Routs will succeed the retiring Dudley Eustace.

Aon Consulting - Hewitt's Yusuf Samad will join as investment principal to advise UK pension funds.

Bfinance - Frans Verhaar has been promoted to lead the consultant's expansion into the Netherlands as director of business development for the region. He joined the firm's London-based research and development team as a senior associate from ING Insurance in 2007.

Punter Southall - John Gordon has joined the company as a senior consultant in Edinburgh, joining from HSBC Consultants and Actuaries.

Baillie Gifford - Mike Gush, currently an investment manager on the emerging markets team, has been promoted to manager of the Pacific fund.

International Financial Data Services - Symcor's Bruce Pinn has become head of application development of IFDS' Canadian operations, with responsibility for core development, client development and project management. Joe DeSario has also been appointed chief administrative officer accountable for finance, legal and compliance at the Canadian affiliate.

Ruffer - David McClean has joined the research team. Most recently, he worked at UBS as a managing director and global head of credit repo.

Mercer - Pam Gregory has been appointed to a new position as head of customer relations within its outsourcing business. Gregory was previously an independent contact centre consultant for organisations in the public, financial and telecommunications sectors.
