GLOBAL - Aviva Investors, BNY Mellon, IIFA, Nordea, Skandia Investment Group, Prupim, MPL, Laven/Lussan

Aviva Investors - Erich Gerth has been appointed as global business development director from July, reporting to CEO Alain Dromer. He was most recently chief executive of Janus International.

BNY Mellon - Timothy Keaney is the new head of global client management and chairman of Europe but will also retain his existing role and responsibilities as co-CEO of BNY Mellon Asset Servicing, working alongside his co-CEO, James Palermo. Keaney will relocate to London and Woody Kerr, executive vice-president, will take on the role of vice-vhairman for the region. reporting to Keaney.

International Investment Funds Association (IIFA) - Peter De Proft has become chairman Susan Olson is now vice-chairman of the board of directors. De Proft, who is also director general of EFAMA and who has served as deputy-chair of the IIFA, succeeds Richard Gilbert, CEO of the Investment Financial Services Association of Australia, who has been chair since 2007 and will remain on the board. Olson is senior counsel for international affairs at the Investment Company Institute.

Nordea - Martti Nyberg will become chief economist in Finland from 1 June. He is currently economist at Finnish Business and Policy Forum, EVA.

Skandia Investment Group - Rupert Watson has been named as asset allocation strategist, reporting to SIG's chief research officer, Tom Berger, and will join the firm's global asset allocation committee. He previously held senior portfolio management roles at GSAM, BlackRock IM and Investec IM.

Prupim - Malcolm Smith, former managing director and chief operating officer for Barclays Global Investors in Europe, is now chief operating officer for the real estate firm.

Managing Partners Limited - Graeme Duncan has been appointed as financial director. He was previously finance and operations director at SGI-management in Hong Kong.

Laven/Lussan Ltd - The law firm associated with hedge fund consultancy Laven Partners, has changed its name to Laven Legal Services Ltd, bringing all Laven group companies under one brand identity.
