GLOBAL - Pension Capital Strategies, Hymans Robertson, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Finansinspektionen, Hermes, Mirae Asset Global Investments, Brookfield, Fortis, Standard Life, NIBC, Cheyne Capital

Pension Capital Strategies - Antony Osborn-Barker, former global head of pensions advisory at BNP Paribas, has been appointed as managing director of its PCS' investment advice service, to lead the teams in London and New York.

Hymans Robertson - Anthony Ellis has left Pearl, where he developed strategies for its insurance company portfolio, to become a senior investment consultant. Andrew Johnston has also joined as an investment analyst, having worked as an analyst at Artemis, and will initially work in the Glasgow office before moving to Edinburgh later in the year.

PricewaterhouseCoopers - Eko Loijenga has been appointed as director at the firm's pensions, actuarial and insurance services division in the Netherlands, and will be co-responsible for the M&A benefits consulting practice. He joined from Towers Perrin, where he was head of the Dutch M&A practice.

Finansinspektionen - Tomas Flodén is leaving his current role has chief of staff to assume the same position at AMF Pension.

Hermes - Neil Williams has been made chief economist of the fixed income team, having previously worked as head of sovereign research/strategy at Mizuho International. He will report to Penni Coe, head of governments and inflation-linked bonds.

Mirae Asset Global Investments - Myung Joo Park has been promoted to managing director and will be based in London. He has been with the parent group Mirae Asset Management since 2005.

Brookfield Asset Management - The firm has made a series of appointments to the team managing global private equity institutional relationships. Peter Thomson, formerly a managing director of the private funds group at Bear Stearns - like two of his colleagues - will cover the UK and the Middle East, operating from London. Robert von Herrmann will cover continental Europe with special focus on the German-speaking countries, and operate from Munich. Paul Tam will cover Asia and operate out of Hong Kong. And Alexander Apponyi, previously a partner at BerchWood Partners, will cover Scandinavian and Benelux countries.

Fortis - Bruno Colmant will join on 1 September as deputy chief executive, with specific responsibility for finance, legal and the management of legacy issues at the former Fortis.He was most recently a member of the NYSE Euronext management committee and head of its Belgian market, and was previously CFO at ING Belgium.

Standard Life - Andrew Fraser has joined as investment director of banking. He  was director of European credit research at BlackRock. He will report to Craig MacDonald, head of investment grade corporate bonds and focus on the UK and European banking sector.

NIBC - Jan van Nieuwenhuizen, who is vice chairman of the managing board of NIBC Holding NV and NIBC Bank NV as well as head of specialised finance and treasury, has resigned his position on the board to continue his career at Rabobank. Jeroen Drost, CEO, will assume his responsibilities in the specialised finance unit.

Cheyne Capital Management LLP - Paul Ruddleston and Paul Keohane have been made partners and will assist in running the Cheyne Equity Macro Fund. Both join from Morgan Stanley where they were managing directors, but Ruddleston headed the global market trading strategy Unit in which they both worked.
