GLOBAL - SEI, BNP Paribas, AMF Pension, KPMG, Oddo & Cie, Mercer, Hymans Robertson, Investment Solutions, Alexander Forbes, Vontobel

SEI - Geoffrey Randells has joined the US-based fiduciary manager as a client investment strategist for the EMEA region. Prior to joining SEI, he spent five years as head of equities at KBC Asset Management and before then held positions as head of global equities at Philips, Hager & North and as head of Asia Pacific and Japan for NPI Asset Management. He will be based in London.

BNP Paribas Investment Partners - Roger Price-Haworth, who left as head of UK institutional clients at Pioneer Global Investments in May last year, has joined as head of institutional clients for the UK and Ireland. He will report to Charles Janssen, who heads the institutional client team for northern Europe and is charged with expanding the company’s footprint in the UK. He has previously worked at Insight Investment and Kleinwort Benson.

AMF Pension - John Hernander, appointed as head of the AMF World Equity Fund in May last year, now has the additional responsibility of managing the company’s Swedish equity fund, replacing Mattias Kindstedt. Hernander has previously worked at Handelsbanken and spent time as an analyst at Alfred Berg and Kaupthing.

KPMG - Stewart Hastie and Nick Evans have been promoted to partner inside the company’s pension practice and are joined by Alan Pentland and David Robertson, also holding the title of partner. Pentland joins from PwC, where he headed up the company’s east Midlands practice, while Robertson joins from Mercer, where he was part of the financial strategy group.

Oddo & Cie - Nicolas Wirz has been named managing director of Oddo Securities, replacing Charles-Henri de Trédern, who will head the company’s human resources department. Sitting on the executive committee, Wirz will oversee Oddo Securities’ activity in equity trading, bond trading, equity research and credit research. He co-founded Montana Partners and has spent time as managing director of Morgan Stanley International France.

Mercer - Richard Tuff has joined the consultancy as a senior client relationship manager in its outsourcing business. Tuff will become a member of the client management leadership team and manage the outsourcing relationships for a portfolio of major pension administration clients. Before joining Mercer, he spent more than 10 years with Towers Watson.

Hymans Robertson - The consultancy has promoted seven members of the firm across its practice areas to partner. The newly appointed partners are: Nigel Hopwood, head of eBusiness; Barry Mack, head of governance and plan management; Helen McArthur, head of the communications team; James Mullins, senior liability management specialist; Sally Newton, senior HR business partner; Linda Selman, investment adviser; and Paul Waters, who heads the pensions and benefits team.

Investment Solutions - Rufus Warner has joined the company as chief executive. Over the last 27 years, Warner has worked at Close Investments, Société Générale Asset Management, Morgan Grenfell Asset Management and Fidelity.  He joins from Earth Capital Partners, a company specialising on investment in sustainable development, where he will retain an involvement as chairman of the investment committee.
 
Alexander Forbes - Antony Hayes has joined Alexander Forbes Consultants & Actuaries as head of institutional business. Hayes will lead all of the company’s institutional clients businesses, including the consultancy, actuarial, asset consulting, corporate and scheme advisory practice areas. He joins from Aon Hewitt, where he was head of the defined contribution consulting and pension risk transfer teams. 

Vontobel Asset Management - Andrew Raisman has joined as executive director and head of UK/Ireland institutional business. Raisman was previously at Hermes Fund Managers, where he was responsible for UK institutional business development and consultant relations. Before then, he was a fund director at Baring Asset Management for UK business development and sales, having started his career at Martin Currie Investment Management as an investment analyst.
