GLOBAL - PensionDanmark, State Street Global Advisors, Skagen Funds, Pitmans Trustees, RCM

PensionDanmark - Henrik Bjerre-Nielsen is set to join PensionDanmark's supervisory board, pending a vote at the labour-market pension fund's extraordinary general meeting set for 31 August. Bjerre-Nielsen is due to replace Cristina Lage on the board and as head of the audit committee. Lage is stepping down following her appointment as director of labour-market pensions administrator Unipension. Bjerre-Nielsen is managing director of Finansiel Stabilitet, a Danish government-owned company that winds up distressed banks.

State Street Global Advisors (SSgA) - Susan Raynes has been appointed head of the UK, Middle East and Africa institutional business. She will report to Greg Ehret, head of SSgA Europe Middle East and Africa, and be involved with all client-facing activity, including sales, consultant relations and relationship management. She will also join the European executive committee. Prior to this role, Raynes was head of SSgA's San Francisco office. She will relocate to London this month.
 
Skagen Funds - Alain Moyeuvre has been appointed as UK compliance officer. He joins from Aviva Investors, where he held the position of senior compliance manager and was responsible for providing advice on business activities across UK and international markets. He has also held the roles of head of compliance at Fischer Francis Trees & Watts and manager in the fiduciary management unit at Citibank Global Asset Management.

Pitmans Trustees - The UK-based trustee and governance services provider has appointed Eddie Hopkins as client manager to the Reading office. He joins from Heath Lambert Group, where he was responsible for client support on corporate pension and benefit products, as well as managing the administration team. Before then, he worked with Norwich Union (now Aviva) for 11 years.

RCM - Marissa Blankenship has been appointed as a sustainability research analyst. She joins RCM's global sustainability research team, led by Bozena Jankowska. Her role will focus on conducting global sustainability research on equities. Blankenship joins from Truestone Impact Investment Management in London, where she was a consultant. She has also worked at Incofin Investment Management in Belgium as an adviser to a microfinance fund.
