GLOBAL - ING Investment Management, PIMCO, Janus Capital International, LCP, Société Générale Securities Services, City Financial

ING Investment Management - David Suetens, chief risk officer, will leave his job at the end of April. Suetens has served as the company's global CRO and sat as an adviser on its risk committee since 2009. Separately, at its office at The Hague, the company appointed Sukhjeet Reehal as senior investment manager for local currency strategies to cover the EMEA time zones, and Kaan Nazli as economist covering the CEEMEA region. They joined from JP Morgan/ECU and Medley Global Advisors, respectively. Manuel Guerena joined as a senior credit analyst from Standard & Poor's, focusing on Latin American and Asian credits.

PIMCO - Hannah Simons joins as senior vice-president and product manager responsible for designing liability-driven investment products for pension funds. Before joining, Simons was a member of BlackRock's client solutions group and before then worked at Towers Watson. Janki Tanna has been appointed a product associate, joining from Mercer, where she advised institutional clients on investment strategy and portfolio allocation.

Janus Capital International - Sander Van Der Ent has been appointed head of Janus's business in the Netherlands. He joins from Highbury Finance, where he served as managing director. Before then, he worked at AXA Investment Managers. In his new role, he will be responsible for developing business among pension funds, insurance companies and private banks. 

LCP - Senior FSA general insurance actuary Wendy Hawes has joined as a principal in the insurance consulting practice. During her 11 years at the regulator, she was part of the team responsible for the implementation of the Solvency II internal model approval process. Separately, Philip Audaer has been appointed senior consultant in the defined contribution team. Audaer, who has more than 30 years' experience in corporate and individual DC consulting, joins from Aon Hewitt.

Société Générale Securities Services - Dirk Werthmann has been appointed a senior relationship manager for Germany. He will be responsible for client relationships with large institutional investors in Germany and Austria. He joins from BNY Mellon SA/NV in Frankfurt, where he was head of sales for non-financial institutions.

City Financial - David Beatty and Michael Stein have joined the board as non-executive directors. Beatty is chairman of Inmet Mining Corporation and a director at the Bank of Montreal. Stein is the founder of investment and property development group MPI.
