Investment Management Association (IMA) – Daniel Godfrey has been appointed chief executive, effective from 1 December. Incumbent chief executive Richard Saunders is to stay on in an advisory capacity until the end of this year. Godfrey spent 11 years as director general of the Association of Investment Companies. He was also chairman of the Personal Finance Education Group (1999-2003) and a member of HM Treasury’s Financial Services Forum (2006-10). He most recently spent two years at the Phoenix Group.

European Association of Public Sector Pension Institutions (EAPSPI) – At its annual general meeting, EAPSPI elected Eva Kiwit, legal counsel at Germany’s Bayerische Versorgungskammer (BVK), to take over as secretary general from Hagen Hügelschäffer from January 2013.

Bridge Trustees – The trustee services provider and subsidiary of law firm Eversheds has appointed Julia Delaney as chief trust executive. She joins from PwC, where she worked for 17 years, latterly as joint leader of the Northern Pensions Assurance practice. She will succeed Antony Miller at Bridge when he steps down from the post in February.
 
AllenbridgeEpic Investment Advisers – The investment adviser to UK pension funds has appointed Tim McKay as a senior adviser. He joins from Lothian Pension Trustees, where he has served as chair for the last five years. He has also served as vice-convener of economic development for City of Edinburgh Council and a director of the City’s property development company.

KAS BankSandra Konisser has been appointed relationship manager with the institutional investor and asset management sector of KAS Bank UK. She joins from KAS Bank in the Netherlands, where she has worked for the last four years. Before then, she worked at ABN AMRO Bank within the compliance and risk-assessment project.
 
CoronationJustin McKie has been appointed director of international sales and relationship management. Before joining South Africa-based Coronation, he was head of sales for the UK and the Nordic region at Russell Investments, where he worked for nine years.

ETF SecuritiesPeter Lidblom has been appointed head of the Nordic region. He joins from NSBO, a specialist institutional broker. Before then, he headed up the equity finance and prime finance product sales team at Nordea, and held various positions at SEB in Sweden and the UK.

Eaton VanceKathleen Gaffney has been appointed vice-president and co-director of investment-grade fixed income. She joins from Loomis, Sayles & Company, where she was a vice-president and portfolio manager for the fixed income group. She has 28 years of investment experience as a portfolio manager and trader.

Bovill – The financial services regulatory consulting practice has made two additions to its London team. John Everett joins as head of technical, while Alex Culley joins as a broking consultant. Everett joins from the UK Financial Services Authority, where he worked for more than 10 years, most recently as a manager in the investment funds. Culley joins from IMS Group.

Delta Lloyd LifeAnne Romagnoli has been appointed as COO at pensions insurer Delta Lloyd Life. She will also keep her responsibilities for ICT and Facilities, which she has managed since 2009. Filip Depaz has been added to Romagnoli’s team as COO for Life operations. He will leave the Swiss Life International Division.

Buck ConsultantsPeter Quinton has been appointed head of annuity placement. Previously, he was non-executive director of Challenger Life, a director of AIFA, a founding director of Living Time and, more recently, non-executive chairman for the Annuity Clearing House.
