GLOBAL - Icelandic Engineers Pension Fund, SWIP, Aberdeen AM, Lombard Odier. GSAM, Eaton Vance Management Int'l, Neuberger Berman, Baring AM, Canada Life, Platinum Management.

Icelandic Engineers Pension Fund - Ingólfur Guðmundsson has been named as the new managing director of the Engineers pension fund in Iceland. He had previously held a variety of roles at Landisbanki until last year.

SWIP - Francis Ghiloni has been appointed head of group partnerships at SWIP, with specific responsibility for leading distribution relationships across all of its parent group, Lloyds Banking Group. He previously held roles in the UK retail financial services market, and most recently was commercial and marketing director at Evaluate Technologies.

Aberdeen GroupHartmut Leser has been promoted to head of its German operations. He has headed the Frankfurt office since its creation in 2007 but will now take over from Patrick Walker, CEO of Aberdeen's German operations, so he concentrate on his other role as head of the asset manager's European business development. Bärbel Schomberg, former head of DEGI and Aberdeen KAG, will also be leaving the company "for personal reasons".

Lombard Odier - Kevin Corrigan is now head of credit, based in London. He previously worked at GSAM as head of European and global credit, managing relative return and absolute return strategies.

Goldman Sachs Asset Management - Mårten Bäck and Philip Mikkelsen have joined the Nordic region team. Bäck will be based in Stockholm and will focus on building relationships with key distributors in the Nordic region. He was previously head of manager research for SEB Wealth Management. Mikkelsen will continue a remit he held at Danske Bank and look after Nordic institutional business.

Eaton Vance Management International - Pepijn Heins has joined as business development director, reporting to Niall Quinn. He was previously executive director of institutional business development at GSAM.

Neuberger Berman - William A. Arnold will be chief financial Officer, effective early March, having previously been CFO of that Citigroup's global asset management and alternative  investment businesses.

Baring Asset Management - Roberto Lampl has been made head of Latin America equity, reporting to Tim Scholefield, head of equities.  He was recently a senior investment manager at ING Investment Management.

Canada Life - Frank Maret has joined the investment division as head of investment marketing and client service. He was previously responsible for European marketing at Insight Investment.

Platinum Management LLC - Gligor Tashkovich has been retained as a consultant at the alternative investment house, covering capital introductions from non-USA investors. He was previously minister of foreign investment for the Republic of Macedonia.
