EUROPE - A European corporate pension fund is looking for managers for a $100m (€78.4bn) all or large cap pan-European equity mandate, using IPE Quest.

In the search, QN975, the pension fund states it is looking for a fundamental asset manager - where the active positions are the result of fundamental research by investment professionals - though stressing it is not interested in quantitative managers.

"The strategy has to be restricted to the countries that are included in the MSCI Europe (Emu countries + UK + Nordic + Switzerland)," according to the search.

The fund wants the mandate to be benchmarked against the MSCI Europe (total return) gross dividends reinvested Standard Index.

The closing date for this search is November 23.
