GLOBAL - PenSam, the Pensions Regulator, First State Investments, Skandia Investment Group, Allianz Global Investors.

PenSam - The Danish labour market fund's trustee board has agreed on management changes to accompany the April 2012 retirement of director Palle Olsen: Helen Kobæk will become managing director of all units, as well as taking on the co-ordinating role with the trustee board. Current divisional director Charlotte Stokkebye will join the boards of PenSam Liv, the insurance subsidiary PenSam Forsikring and PenSam Bank, alongside a third management board member who is yet to be appointed. Divisional directors Klaus Kvorning Hansen and Claus Asger Olsen will both leave their positions at PenSam on 31 January.

The Pensions Regulator
- June Mulroy has decided to leave the UK regulator in the new year, stepping down from her role as director for defined contribution (DC), governance and administration. After working at the regulator for seven years and a long career in the industry, Mulroy said she was looking forward to dividing her time between  a number of different activities. The regulator's chief executive Bill Galvin will assume her role in the interim, while the search for a longer-term replacement is underway.

First State Investments
- Tal Lomnitzer has started as portfolio manager within the global resources team. Based in London, working alongside analyst Pete Campbell where the company said he would improve the team's real-time coverage of the UK, European and North American markets. Lomnitzer comes to First State from Merchant Global Resources fund, which he founded and managed. Before that, he was a partner and fund manager at NewSmith Capital and ORN Capital, managing the Global long/short resources and energy funds.

Skandia Investment Group
(SIG) - Paul Feeney has been named chief executive of Skandia Investment Group - an asset management group within the long term savings division (LTS) of Old Mutual plc. The appointment adds to his new role from January of chief executive of all Old Mutual's asset management businesses in the LTS. Feeney has been head of distribution and executive director at BNY Mellon Asset Management since 2008. Feeney's appointment to SIG comes in the wake of Phil Wagstaff's decision to take the role of global head of distribution at Henderson Global Investors, following his appointment to the role of chief executive at SIG just two weeks ago. Henderson said Wagstaff has previously held senior distribution roles at Gartmore, New Star and M&G, among other asset management firms. He will join Henderson in January, subject to FSA approval.

Allianz Global Investors (AGI) - James Dilworth has been promoted to chief executive for Europe at the asset management company, from his role as head of Germany. He replaces Elizabeth Corley, who was named chief executive designate for AGI earlier in 2011.
