EUROPE – KAS Bank has boosted its sales staff in Benelux and the European institutional areas.

It has named Arno Vroom as associate director financial intermediaries for the Benelux.

In his new role, Vroom will be responsible for sales and acquisition, cross-selling and relation management for financial institutions in the Benelux markets, KAS said.

Vroom, 38, succeeds Bart Mantje, who has been appointed head of business support and development. Vroom will report to Ryanne Cox, director of financial intermediaries.

The appointment will come into force as of February 1. Vroom has been at KAS since 2000. His most recent post has been senior relations manager within financial intermediaries.

Separately, Cees Bezuijen becomes sales manager for institutional investors Europe.

Bezuijen, 33, will primarily focus on sales/acquisition of Dutch pension funds and insurance companies. He will report to Mark van Weezenbeek, associate director of institutional investors Europe.

Bezuijen has been at KAS since 1998, most recently as head of securities lending.
