GLOBAL - AP1, Mn Services, Cordea Savills, BNP Paribas, Hewitt, Barings, Aegon, SWIP, Citi, IAM, Ortec, Janus.

AP1 - Martin Källström has left Aon Consulting’s Swedish practice where he was head of investment consulting & capital markets to join the Swedish AP1fund as senior portfolio manager. His departure follows that of Mats Langensjö, managing director at the Stockholm office, who left Aon to join Pioneer Investments in August.

Mn Services - The Rijswijk-based pension administrator has nabbed a team of three from Mercer. ALM specialists Hein Stam and Rob Wassink, and analyst Kin Lee joined the company last week.

Cordea Savills - Alessandro Castiglione, Pierfilippo Barattolo, both director of investment, and Giuseppina La Mantia, asset manager, have joined Cordea’s Milan office. Castiglione, from BNL Fondi Immobiliari SGR, has overall responsibility for asset management of the Italian portfolios. DTZ’s Barattolo is responsible for pan-European investment at Cordea, while La Mantia, previously with Archon Group Italia, is responsible for asset management undertaken by the firm’s opportunistic funds.

BNP Paribas - Watson Wyatt’s Craig Gillespie has joined the BNP’s London pensions team. He will focus on creating structures and solutions for European pension plan financing, cash flow hedging, deficit repair, structured returns and surplus management.

Hewitt Associates - Richard Cooper has joined the UK investment consulting team as a property specialist. He previously worked at Kingston University, where he spent the last year as a senior lecturer on commercial property investment.

Baring Asset Management - James Calder is leaving Berry Asset Management to join Barings in London from January as head of multi-manager.

Aegon Asset Management - Stuart Fraser, previously at Standard Life Investments, will be the new head of Aegon’s European equity team in London.

Scottish Widows Investment Partnership - Greig Bryson has left Pioneer Investments in Dublin to become European equities manager for SWIP in Edinburgh.

Citi - Jeffrey Gould, from hedge fund manager Renaissance Technologies, has been named as managing director and global head of distribution for Citi’s alternative investments arm.

International Asset Management - Alexander von Mühlen has been appointed to the newly-created role of head of client relations and products. London-based Von Mühlen was previously with ABN Amro Asset Management.

Ortec Finance - John van Markwijk and Jan Karstanje will join ORTEC Finance from early next year, as managing director and senior adviser in Rotterdam. Both currently work with SPF Beheer.

Janus Capital Group - Portfolio manager Marc Pinto will manage the Janus Growth and Income Fund and its related products for intermediary and institutional clients, the firm has announced. In addition, director of research Jim Goff and Janus’ research analyst team will manage Janus Fundamental Equity Fund and its related products for intermediary and institutional clients. The Janus Growth and Income and Janus Fundamental Equity products were previously managed by Minyoung Sohn, who left the company earlier this year.
