GLOBAL - Pensions Management Institute, Acadian Asset Management, BayernInvest, Gothaer Asset Management, Hermes Fund Managers, Jupiter Asset Management, Mercer, Tradar

Pensions Management Institute - Terri-Ann Humphreys joins from Buck Consultants as business development executive. She has previously worked at Lane Clark & Peacock, Prudential and UBS Global Asset Management.

Acadian Asset Management - Christopher Tocco has been hired as vice-president and consultant relations officer, reporting to Renee Hoffmann, head of consultant relations. Tocco joins from Summit Strategies Group, where he was head of traditional markets research. Before then, he spent eight years at Hammond Associates. The news follows the appointment of Joshua White, who joined from the US Securities & Exchange Commission.

BayernInvest - Markus Götz joins from State Street Global Advisors as director of marketing and sales. He has previously worked at COMINVEST Asset Management and Kepler-Fonds and in his new role will concentrate on clients in the insurance and Versorgungswerk branch of the business. He will report to Eberhard Schwarz, head of marketing and sales. Further additions include Ulrich Plank as sales manager for churches, charities and fund of funds, and Heinrich Oberkandler, who will start as consultant relations manager, working with investment consultants.

Gothaer Asset Management
- Thomas Olbrich joins as senior portfolio manager, managing assets for both the company’s public funds and for Gothaer Versicherung. Olbrich joins from Oppenheim and has previously worked for AXA Investment Managers Deutschland and DWS in Luxembourg.

Hermes Fund Managers
- James Taylor has been named director of government bonds in the Hermes’ global government and inflation-linked bond boutique. He joins from Gulf International, where he was head of fixed income. Taylor has also worked for Morley Fund Management.

Jupiter Asset Management - Guy De Blonay will become lead manager on the Jupiter Financial Opportunities fund from 1 January next year. Philip Gibbs, who has managed the fund since its inception in 1997 and has been sharing responsibilities with De Blonay since June this year, will become deputy manager.

Mercer - Paul Noone and Cathryn Cooney have joined the consultancy as national and regional operations manager, respectively. In his role, Noone will oversee the customer relationship centre in Chichester, England. In the past, he has worked for Tata Consultancy Services and Aon Consulting, while Cooney joins from the Pensions Trust. Additionally, Jo Tyler has been promoted to regional operations manager for the south of England. Tyler, who joined as head of the scheme service centre and discontinued scheme services in November last year, has also worked for Capita Hartshead.

Tradar - Katya Surudina joins as global head of client services, with responsibility for the EMEA market, as well as Asia and the Americas. Prior to joining Tradar, where she will report to chief executive Gerry Gualtieri, Surudina worked for Pertrac Financial Solution.
