UK - Greenwich Associates has named Peter D'Amario as managing director of the its European operations, while Robert Statius-Muller returns to the US to be sector leader of the company's global investment management practice.

Statius-Muller was a vice-president of the Alcar Group prior to joining Greenwich Associates and has a degree in business administration from Nijenrode University, a BSc in civil engineering at the Hogere Technische School (both in The Netherlands) and an MBA from Kellogg.

D'Amario will drive Greenwich Associates' expansion in the UK and continental Europe and continue consulting with the company's FX, derivatives, fixed income, banking and equities clients in the region.

He began his career at Chase Manhattan Bank in New York, after which he joined Goldman Sachs in its treasury and fixed income areas in New York and then London.

He holds an AB from Brown University and an MBA from Wharton.
