A Swiss occupational pension fund IPE Quest to search for asset managers for several mandate that could be worth up to CHF1.8bn (€1.7bn).

The scheme has issued three small-cap equity mandates investing in various regions.

According to search QN-2722, the fund is seeking fund managers to invest between CHF300-800m on global ex-Switzerland small-cap equity.

The portfolio is to follow the MSCI World ex Switzerland Small Cap (Gross) index as benchmark

When applying, performance as of 30 June 2021 should be stated.

There is also a US small-cap equity mandate worth CHF300-600m (QN-2723) which is set to follow the Russell 2000 (Gross) or MSCI USA Small Cap (Gross) as benchmarks.

Additionally, a brief worth CHF200-400m for global ex-US small-cap equity (QN-2724) is to follow the MSCI World ex US Small Cap (Gross) as benchmark.

The scheme is looking to invest in active single investor fund structures under Swiss law segregated account for all three strategies, the tenders said.

Participating managers for all three mandates will need to have at least $2bn in assets under management (AUM) for each individual asset class, with a minimum of at least $5bn in total AUM.

The deadline to participate in the three searches has been set for 6 October5pm UK time.
