XPS Pensions Group has been appointed to provide administration services for the John Lewis Partnership Pension Trust in the UK, following a competitive selection and tendering process facilitated by Cosan Consulting.

John Lewis Partnership is the UK’s largest employee-owned business and parent company of the John Lewis and Waitrose retail brands, which are owned in trust by more than 74,000 partners. The scheme covers nearly 165,000 members.

Dave Suddock, director of people operations for the John Lewis Partnership, said that partnering with XPS will help the group provide the “best possible” service for its members, including online access to their pension details.

He said: “We’re delighted to be working with XPS at a time when the John Lewis Partnership pension scheme has never been in a healthier position.”

David Watkins, managing director of XPS administration, said: “We are thrilled to be appointed by the trustee of the John Lewis Partnership Pensions Trust to deliver a first-class service to their membership.”

Watkins said he hopes to create a long standing and collaborative partnership with John Lewis Partnership to provide the “best possible” experience for the membership.

He continued: “[We] are excited about delivering the shared vision we have for the future administration of the scheme.”
