Swedish Fund Selection Agency (Fondtorgsnämnden, FTN) – The new government agency running Sweden’s reformed premium pension platform has made a series of new appointments in preparation for the run of procurements it will be launching in the spring.

Nadine Viel Lamare is to become sustainability strategist and communications manager at the FTN. She worked most recently at the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and has several years of experience in sustainability work, communication and management from organisations such as the Transition Pathway Initiative, AP1, the AP Funds’ Ethics Council and the EU’s platform for sustainable financing, FTN said. She will join the organisation on 30 January.

Marek Loutfi joined FTN at the beginning of October, and Fredrik Olofsson began work there at the start of December, with both new recruits working in the agency’s unit for operational review and monitoring. Loutfi has experience working at both state and municipal authorities and has most recently worked as an auditor, the agency said. Olofsson, joining in the role of fund investigator, has previously worked at the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth.

Claes Alvin is joining the FTN in January to work in the audit unit, having worked at Finansinspektionen, Sweden’s FSA, for 13 years. Lars Paulsson will join the FTN’s legal department in January, from his latest job at Region Stockholm, and Rita Helawi will start a new job at the authority in February, having most recently worked at the City of Stockholm, and previously had a tax law job at the Swedish Tax Agency. 

Dilan Botrous has been hired for the FTN’s administrative work, having had prior experience working at a bank within customer service and as a private adviser, the agency said
