UK – Consultant Watson Wyatt, has promoted four associates to become partners in the firm's Investment Consulting Practice, bringing to 23 the number of new Watson Wyatt partners in 2001 - the largest number of such appointments the firm has made in a single year.

The four new partners are Brian Hill, Mark Beardall, David Evans and Chris Fagan. Watson Wyatt says the promotions reflect continued strong expansion in the business.

Brian Hill was hired by Watson Wyatt in 1996 and has responsibility for consulting
to clients on a wide range of investment issues.
He has also been instrumental in developing the company's investment consultancy business in Europe and leading the firm's global custodian consulting activities.

Mark Beardall joined Watson Wyatt in 1999 as the firm's global head of
investment systems with responsibility for developing tools and systems used
for advising clients on investment consulting issues. He is also an associate of
the Society of Investment Professionals.

David Evans was brought into Watson Wyatt last year as head of operations. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales having qualified in 1980.

Chris Fagan arrived at Watson Wyatt's Investment Consulting Practice in 1997 and
is responsible for the provision of investment advice to UK pension funds and other institutions.
