UK - Daniel Harrison, formerly actuary with Watson Wyatt, joins Synesis Life in the new position of senior pension actuary.

"His appointment builds on the depth of expertise within the company and Daniel Harrison's extensive consultancy experience and industry knowledge will enhance our ability to offer bespoke solutions," Isabel Hudson, chief executive of Synesis Life, commented on he appointment.

A Watson Wyatt spokesperson told IPE that Harrison's responsibilities will be taken on by other members on the actuarial team servicing on clients.

Meanwhile, Dean Wetton, former member of the research team at Hewitt, joins P-Solve Asset Solution to help develop its manager research function.

"This appointment reflects our growing business and commitment to providing innovative investment advice," John Conroy, principal at P-Solve, said.

Hewitt is currently looking for a replacement for Wetton, a spokesman said.
