GLOBAL - KPMG, Mercer, Alignment Investors, National Association of Pension Funds, ETF Securities, Osmosis Capital, Barnet Waddingham.

KPMG - Graham Jung has been appointed director in its investment advisory practice, reporting to Patrick McCoy, head of investment advisory for KPMG LLP in the UK. He was previously at Goldman Sachs International in the prime brokerage business but started his career at Watson Wyatt in the investment consulting business.

Mercer - Jerry Neudegg has joined as a principal and as head of operational accounting in its outsourcing business. He arrives from State Street Bank where he was head of pension fund accounting and, more recently, custody and accounting product specialist, leading project teams in the design and implementation of strategic product enhancements.

Alignment Investors - Robert Marsden is now portfolio manager at the division of BlueCrest Capital Management LLP, responsible for external investment strategies at the absolute return foused fixed income team. He spent 10 years at Mercer as both head of fixed income manager research and more recently as lead portfolio manager of Mercer's fixed income portfolios and the diversified alpha (absolute return) fund. And Paul Griffith joined a credit portfolio manager, having been a credit specialist at Merrill Lynch.

National Association of Pension Funds - Lindsay Tomlinson, vice-chairman of Barclays Global Investors Europe, has been elected as the new chairman.  He will take over from Chris Hitchen whose two-year term of office ends at the annual general meeting on 16 October 2009.

ETF Securities - Mark Weeks is now chief executive of ETF Exchange, the firm's ETF platform. He joined from UBS where he ran the highly securities lending franchise.

Osmosis Capital LLP - The low carbon investment specialist has appointed Paul Bramley as chief financial officer. He was previously chief operating officer for the infrastructure funds business at Barclays Private Equity.

Barnet Waddingham - Four members of staff have been made partners: Alison Hamilton, who specialises in public sector actuarial and consulting advice; Sarah Brown and Paul Houghton, both pension scheme actuaries, and Matt Tickle, who is part of the investment services team.
