F&C Asset Management
- Marius Penderis has been appointed senior liability driven investment (LDI) structurer at the investment manager, reporting to Alex Soulsby, head of derivative fund management. He comes to F&C from Royal Bank of Scotland, where he was sales and structuring director in the UK pensions solutions group. Before that, Penderis was a principal at Mercer Investment Consulting.

MN - Walter van Gent has succeeded Dirk de Heer as head of risk and operations UK. He joins the team from MN's Dutch office, where he has been team manager operations since 2008. De Heer will return to the Dutch office on 1 July, where he will take on a new job in the operations department. In other news, Ross Leighton joined the MN earlier this month as the fiduciary manager's risk and operations manager UK, following a role in JP Morgan in the performance measurement team. Separately, MN's head of business development UK Colin English is leaving the company this month, moving to Russell Investment. Until a replacement is appointed for English, Marcelo Dellavedova, business development manager UK, will temporarily take over responsibility for business development in the UK.

Royal London Asset Management - Azhar Hussain has been appointed head of global high yield, reporting to Jonathan Platt, head of fixed interest. He joins the investment manager from Insight Investment Management, where he was head of high yield and leveraged loans.

FTSE Group - Kevin Bourne has been appointed managing director of the index provider's newly structured ESG service unit. Gordon Morrison will join the company to head its new ESG analytics team. Bourne and Morrison founded ESG quant and research firm LCE Risk. Before that, both men had senior roles within equities at HSBC.

Redington - Dan Mikulskis has been appointed director in Redington's asset-liability management (ALM) and investment strategy team. He will be jointly responsible for the day-to-day running of the team along with Steven Yang Yu, and will report to Philip Rose, managing director and head of ALM and investment strategy. Mikulskis previously worked at Deutsche Bank in Sydney in the cross asset trading group.

SEI - David Hickey has been appointed director in the company's institutional group in London. He has spent most of his career so far at Barclays Capital, most recently as head of UK and Ireland pension origination.

Oddo Asset Management
- Evelyn Muth has been appointed head of the investment manager's new Frankfurt office. She was head of retail distribution at Fidelity in Germany and Luxembourg for 17 years.
