GLOBAL - ATP, SPT, HSBC Global Asset Management, Sacker & Partners, Pioneer Investments, JP Morgan Asset Management, Pramerica

ATP - The Danish pension fund is setting up a new communications department and has appointed Georg Jensen's public relations chief Annemette Moesgaard to run it. Moesgaard, who has been vice-president of corporate communications and PR at the Danish jewellery company since January 2010, will take up her new role on 1 September. She will be responsible for external communications, media and marketing at the ATP Group. Before working at Georg Jensen, Moesgaard ran her own consultancy Moesgaard Kommunication, and was previously external affairs manager at Dansk Shell.

SPT - The €1.5bn occupational pension fund for dentists (SPT) in the Netherlands has appointed the external experts Gerard van de Kuilen, Joanne de Graaff and Dick Wenting as its supervisory board, following a new governance set-up. Van de Kuilen is a pensions consultant, while Wenting is an actuary and investment analyst. De Graaff is currently independent chairman of the pension fund for the paint and printing ink sector, as well as employers' chairman at the pension fund for the sweets industry.

HSBC Global Asset Management - Heiner Weber has been appointed head of institutional sales for the EMEA region. Weber, who has been with HSBC since 1995, will also keep his position as managing director at HSBC GAM in Germany. Previously, he worked in the equity sales and global markets units of HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt.

Sacker & Partners - The UK pensions law firm has promoted Naomi Brown, Nigel Cayless and Ralph McClelland to the position of associate. All three new associates began working at Sackers in 2006 and advise their trustee and employer clients on a wide range of pensions issues.

Pioneer Investments - Nick Aslibekian joins as a healthcare analyst, while Virna Valenti joins as a financials analyst. Aslibekian joins from Standard Life in Edinburgh, where he was investment director in charge of the Europe ex UK healthcare sector. Valenti was promoted from within the company.

JP Morgan Asset Management - Peter Pergovacz has joined the global liquidity sales team covering the EMEA region. In his new role, he will be based in Frankfurt and be responsible for sales in Germany and Austria. He joins from JPM Worldwide Securities Services, where he was a relationship manager.
 
Pramerica - Pramerica Fixed Income has named London-based Giancarlo Perasso as a principal and lead economist for the EMEA region. He joins from Matrix/Redux Funds, where he served as chief economist.
