SWITZERLAND - Sven Ebeling, head investment consulting for Mercer in Switzerland, is set to leave the company to join UBS.

A spokeswoman at the consultancy confirmed Ebeling would be leaving, but declined to provide a date for his departure.

Ebeling - who will be replaced by current deputy head Christian Bodmer - is to join UBS as head of asset servicing from the beginning of October, according to a UBS spokesperson.

The position at UBS had been left vacant after an "internal change of jobs".

Ebeling had been with Mercer Investment Consulting Switzerland for eight years.

Prior to joining Mercer, he had been member of the executive board at ECOFIN Investment Consulting and head of sales and trading research for Switzerland at JP Morgan.
