HUNGARY – An advisor on pensions to the Economic and Financial Affairs Directorate of the European Commission is among the speakers at a forum in Budapest that will discuss European pension models.

The 16th Colloquium of the Groupe Consultatif Acturariel Europeen and the Hungarian Actuarial Society is to take place in Budapest on June 20.

Scheduled speakers include Heikki Oksanen, a pensions advisor to the European Commission and Alan Pickering, chairman of the European Federation for Retirement Provision.

The event will be chaired by UK government actuary Chris Daykin. Event organiser Michael Lucas says leading pensions actuaries from a number of EU member states and candidate countries will also attend.
