Baring Asset Management – Lars Albert has joined as head of sales for Germany and Austria. Based in Frankfurt, Albert was previously Henderson Global Investors' head of sales for both countries. In the past, he has worked at SEB Asset Management and Fundmatrix AG.

CFA Society Switzerland – Christian Dreyer has replaced Anne-Katrin Scherer as chief executive after four years in the role. Dreyer, who for a decade from 2000 onwards was a member of the organisation's board of directors, also spent four years as its president from 2004 onwards. Dreyer has spent time as managing partner at Tetium datur, and worked as head of research at Basler Kantonalbank.

Pramerica – Conor Dempsey has been named the fixed income division's managing director, institutional client relations for continental Europe and the Middle East. Dempsey most recently worked at Pinebridge Investments as head of institutional sales and spent 15 years at AIG Investments.

Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry – Anouk Agnes has been elected the association's deputy director general, filling a vacancy left by the departure of Charles Muller in late 2011. Agnes joined the ALFI in April 2012, acting as director of communications and business development, and has previously worked as an advisor to the country's ministry of finance.

Vontobel Asset Management – Luc D'hooge joins as head of emerging market fixed income, while Wouter Van Overfelt has joined his team as portfolio manager. D'hooge joins from Dexia Asset Management, where he headed up the manager's EM bond fund team. Meanwhile, Van Overfelt joins from GDF Suez and also spent time at Dexia in its credit risk team. He also spent time as a researcher at the University of Antwerp, where he earned his PhD.

HR Trustees – The UK company has appointed Lyndon Jones as managing director. Jones has previously worked at Xafinity and head of defined benefit pension services at Hazell Carr.
