UK - Mellon Global Investments, the distribution arm for the international asset management businesses of Mellon Financial Corporation, announced a new sub fund to its group of Mellon Global Funds.
The Mellon US Large Companies Value Portfolio will be managed by The Boston Company Asset Management, a subsidiary of Pittsburgh-based Mellon Financial Corporation.
The sub fund aims to achieve long-term capital growth through investment primarily through a portfolio of equity and equity-related securities of large-sized companies located in the US or deriving a large proportion amount of their income therefrom.
Mellon Global Funds was established in 2001. Other sub funds launched include Mellon Global Equity Portfolio and Mellon Continental European Equity Portfolio.
The Boston Company Asset Management manages more than $1.7bn in assets.
