UK – Nasdaq Europe has appointed Michael Sanderson as chief executive officer (CEO).
Sanderson will be responsible for the company’ future development in the European market.

Sanderson, who will be based in London, joins from Market X, where he was chairman and CEO. He has also previously worked as CEO for Reuters America Holdings.

Sanderson will report to John Hilley, chairman of Nasdaq International, who comments: “We believe that he Sanderson will be instrumental in building on the foundation we have set in Europe and in continuing to strengthen our presence in this key market for Nasdaq.”
