UK - Schroders plc has named Curt Custard as head of multi-asset solutions, a new role.

"Curt will be responsible for strategic asset allocation for clients that identifies and addresses their appetite for risk, as well as their assessment of their liabilities," Schroders said.

His responsibilities will also include asset allocation for multi-asset products. He will head up the team that oversees the firm's multi-manager offering with Standard & Poor's. He will report to head of investment Richard Horlick.

It said Custard was previously chief investment officer of multi-asset products in London for Allianz Dresdner Asset Management.

"Curt will bring enormous experience to our multi-asset capabilities which will also enable us to enhance the strategic asset allocation advice and range of multi-asset products we are able to deliver to our clients," Horlick said.
